projects La Marmora Palace
Since 2022, Palazzo La Marmora in Biella has been collaborating with BIA on its project related to the PNRR’s call for Parks and Historic Gardens, entitled “From Renaissance to Romanticism, Private Garden and Urban Landscape, a Restitution.”
BIA, which offered and provided professional support to the project, is working on the drafting of the Management Plan, ensuring that all current and future operational phases are in line with the requirements and objectives of the PNRR, with the aim of enhancing and preserving the historical and landscape heritage of the Palace, thus promoting sustainable development and cultural growth of the area.
During the press conference for the presentation of the project, held on July 4th 2024 in the elegant halls of the La Marmora Palace, Angelo Boscarino, CEO of BIA, pointed out how the renovation of this green space represents a particularly significant tourist attraction, capable of increasing the flow of visitors to the Piazzo.
The importance of an integrated vision for the “Piazzo Cultural Hub,” which sees Palazzo La Marmora in synergy with two other historic buildings in the area, also emerged. The restoration of the garden is not intended to be an isolated intervention, but instead it must be considered part of a broader strategy to create a vibrant and cohesive cultural core.
This strategy includes the promotion of coordinated activities and projects among the three palaces, with the aim of maximizing both their cultural and tourism potential.
